Alice and Joe were wed in Holland, MI during Tulip Time which is one of the most beautiful times in the city. Tulip Time is celebrated in May every year and during this celebration the citizens of Holland celebrate their rich heritage in Dutch traditions.
Alice and Joe were marred the Central Park Chapel on the south end of Lake Macatawa and celebrated their reception at City Flats Hotel in downtown. We enjoyed a fun intimate wedding with all their friends that love dancing.
I hope you two are loving married life and thank you for including me in your beautiful wedding day.
When I met with Jon and Taylor last summer to take their engagement photos I instantly got excited for their April wedding. As we began our appointment we sipped on Bell's Oberon and began constructing their wedding timeline. Jon informed me that his large family was Catholic and Polish... suddenly their was a sparkle in my eye! I come from a very large Catholic, and Polish family and I already knew what those adjectives meant... lots of fun!
As I pulled into St. Robert's in Ada, Mi and was greeted by family and friends I instantly felt at home. As their Catholic Mass concluded their were many hugs and loud conversation in the vestibule. I knew that once we arrived at Noto's to begin their reception, their would be the best celebration waiting for us. Jon and Taylor had a stunning 5 tiered wedding cake and decedent dinner for their guests.
During their reception the drinks flowed and we partook in the Polish Grand March - which I had only ever seen at one other wedding. Needless to say Jon and Taylor's wedding was full of family, laughter and fun. As you enjoy some of my favorite images you will notice that the smiles don't leave their faces from the moment I arrive and well after I left. Also, thank you to all their family and friends that welcomed me and made sure that I didn't leave without a hug. Cheers Jon and Taylor and I hope you are loving married life!
Hannah and Bryan have been married for 6 months already! Their intimate, brunch wedding in downtown Grand Rapids was the perfect Saturday celebration for their closest family and friends. I mean who can say no to bacon, pancakes, and a wedding??
Hannah and Bryan met at 8th Day gym and from there they grew incredibly found of each other while working out and also getting to know each other outside of the gym. Since moving to the west side of Michigan, Downtown Grand Rapids is slowly growing on me and I must admit I am falling in love with the city a little bit eve3ry day. The 100 degree weather this week is causing me to sweat a little more than the usual so I thought I would reminisce a little about this chilly January wedding - but I refuse to complain about the warmth because I LOVE hot summers.
Cheers to Hannah and Bryan and I hope you are loving married life!
Rafe and Alyssa were married at the quaint, and rustic Post Family Farms in Allendale, MI. We couldn't have asked for better weather and stunning sunshine for their wedding day.
Their wedding was a beautiful collaboration of family members and friends coming alongside of Rafe and Alyssa to celebrate God and their marriage. Rafe and Alyssa's first look was so touching. As they walked through apple orchards they sun peeked in and out of the clouds.. As Rafe, set his eyes on his bride he didn't take loose sight of her the whole day. In that moment I could tell that they were best friends and completely adored each other.
Alyssa and Rafe spent the day hand in hand, laughing and sharing intimate moments throughout their wedding day celebrating. As the sun set in west Michigan Post Family
Farms was the perfect back drop to their intimate, classic and simple wedding that was centered around Jesus and their marriage.
Congratulations Rafe and Alyssa; I hope God blesses you with many years of joy and happiness as you begin this journey together. If you are engaged and looking to book a wedding for 2019 and 2020 I am now booking and would love to connect and talk about your vision for your upcoming wedding!
Kevin & Selin got married on Saturday June 30th. Their wedding reception was at the Sherman Lake YMCA Outdoor center just outside of Kalamazoo. While the temperatures rose the beautiful woods were captivating as Kevin and Selin became husband and wife. Their reception was located at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts being surrounded by all of their family and friends in the atrium of the institute.
Kevin and Selin's portraits have been some of my favorite of the wedding season and their sunset photos were absolutely breathtaking. I hope you enjoy some of my favorite images from their wedding day. Cheers!

Can you believe that Christmas has come and gone already; and now a brand new year is on the horizon! Time flies! This beautiful August wedding of Aspen and Brent Peavey closed out my 2017 wedding season with a bang. I was so blessed by being able to capture their day and also just being around Aspen and Brent. They are an easy going couple and so in love so they are very easy to photograph because it just comes naturally for them. I hope you enjoy their wedding as much as I did :)

With Labor Day weekend behind us and my Facebook feed filled with first day of school pictures I thought it would be a great day to post Jena and Mike's blog. This wedding was so beautiful. Every rustic and natural decoration had me in love with their location from the beginning. The barn was the perfect backdrop to the perfect day. From a sun soaked sunset to endless kisses in the bean field.
Jena and I started in downtown Mount Pleasant, Michigan at a salon where all of her bridesmaids got ready while her mother and flower girl watched on. The day was filled with candid and natural moments. Haley, Mike and Jena's daughter lit up the room while dancing the night away but also sharing cake with them as the cut their cake as a family.
Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Sprinkles for allowing me to be a part of your day. Enjoy! I enjoyed capturing your intimate and romantic day.
