Bradley and Erin's engagement session can simply be put into two words... genuine love. This couple's beautiful and authentic love showed clearly through the way they posed themselves and felt so comfortable in front of the camera. Their wedding is in October and I think that my job will be easy because they need know coaching in "acting like they love each other" because they love each other deeply and passionate. I am so excited to play an important part of their day! Enjoy!

I met up with Greg and Sara on a Friday afternoon in Midland to capture their engagement session. The weather was perfect and the sun was shining! They are one of the most enjoyable and fun couples I have ever worked with. Sara and I are very like minded when it comes to our love for every thing Michigan-made and local products. Her love for the mitten state is included in every part of their wedding. I cannot wait to capture their wedding in October and see all the cool details she was telling me about! They love Michigan Beer and we included this passion into the engagement session. They got to share their favorite beer from Shorts Brewery, at a secluded spot in the woods as the sun lowered in the sky. I am so in love with them and excited to spend their wedding day with them! It is going to be the perfect day! Enjoy! xoxo
The Hahn Family was a joy to work with and all so photogenic! Jacqueline got a hold of me to do family photos for a mothers day present and I must say this was the perfect gift! It was so great to see a friend from my childhood and also give their mom some great updated photos. I am so glad that the rain held off for us and gave us some beautiful lighting in the woods! Enjoy!
Norman and Doris Emily were married June 12, 1965 in front of all their family and friends. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary together on CMU's campus this past Saturday. Doris' dress and pearls were displayed for all guests to look at. They even had their cake topper, and original receipts from her wedding dress and rings! Their prices were slightly cheaper then today's normal wedding rings. After a busy start to my summer season, it was refreshing to be surrounded by the Emily's and their timeless love for each other. They celebrated with many of their friends who are also married for over 50 years! Marriage is hard work; but so worth it to say that you have stood by the side of your best friend for better or worse, richer or poor and in sickness and in health. I wish this for all my clients who book me for their weddings and hope that they too can experience the lifetime benefits of being married to your best friend.
Norman and Doris were blessed with a beautiful anniversary celebrating the last 50 years together.
The celebration concluded with a 70's rendition of The Newlywed Game. Some of the questions were... Where did you meet? Where was your first kiss? Who is your wife's celebrity crush?
Happy Anniversary Norman and Doris. xoxo Elizabeth
The Zeigler Family and I enjoyed the beautiful sunny Sunday on Stevenson Lake. This family of four was so photogenic and excited to get pictures celebrating their love towards each other. Wyatt and Tessa were a joy to photograph and so much fun to be around. Thank you for letting me capture this beautiful moment in your lives. Enjoy!
Cameron and Katherine celebrated their beautiful marriage surrounded by family and friends. These two fell in love in high school. For seven years they have been stuck by each others side and on May 30th, they began their marriage in their home church in Allendale, MI, hand in hand. Their commitment to each other was clear and focused on Christ throughout their entire ceremony. Katherine and Cameron's family's are so close and full of love and energy. I had so much fun at their reception watching all of their guests on the dance floor from begin to end! I loved capturing all of the special relationships in their lives and being surrounded by such a caring and compassionate family from beginning to end. I felt like I was just another member of the family while sharing the day and joking around with their guests during dinner. Congratulations again Katie and Cameron! Thank you for allowing me to be your photographer.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Kroll! Thank you again for letting me be apart of your special day. I wish you many years of happiness and blessings.
